Our Story
JIREH Industries was founded by Greg Stokes in 2015, bringing with it decades of experience gained working with some of Australia’s leading electrical companies, including Downer, ABB, James Watt, and O’Donnell Griffin.
Greg has extensive experience across industrial and commercial projects, with work across major sites such as Westons/Arnott’s Biscuits, the Sydney Police Centre, AMP Building, Grosvenor Place, Darling Harbour Conference Centre, the ICI Plant at Botany. He has also contributed to Qantas Cargo Terminal projects and railway infrastructure throughout Sydney, the South Coast, and regional NSW.
Between 2001 and 2006, Greg also owned and operated a successful electrical business on the Central Coast, expanding his expertise into residential work and small commercial projects - an experience that continues to shape the practical, client-focused approach of JIREH Industries today.
After relocating to Newcastle and working with a large electrical company, redundancy became an unexpected turning point, opening the door once again to establish an independent electrical and handyman business.
While the years spent with large organisations provided invaluable experience, Greg believes there is nothing quite like working for yourself - building genuine connections, earning trust, and having the privilege of delivering quality workmanship in people’s homes.
